Terms of Service

These terms govern your booking and visit at Hairrari Bushwick, 206 Bushwick Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211. By booking an appointment, you agree to the conditions below.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, booking an appointment, or visiting our barbershop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always posted on this page.

2. Services Offered

Hairrari Bushwick offers gender-neutral haircutting and color services including (but not limited to) fades, short cuts, pixies, color, highlights, braids, and consultations. Services are performed by licensed New York State cosmetologists and barbers. Pricing, duration and inclusions are listed on our website and may be updated without prior notice; the price applicable to your visit is the one displayed at booking time.

3. Booking, Deposits & Cancellation

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $20 USD is required to confirm online bookings. The deposit is applied to the final price of the service on the day of your appointment.

Free cancellation window

You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment forfeit the deposit. No-shows are charged the full service price to the card on file or invoiced.

Late arrivals

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to shorten the service or reschedule it to protect the next client's appointment. The deposit remains applied.

4. Payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and Apple Pay / Google Pay. Cash is accepted in-shop. Hairrari NYC never stores your full card number on its own servers — only Stripe-issued tokens are kept for booking purposes.

5. User Conduct & Right of Refusal

Hairrari Bushwick is an explicitly inclusive, queer-owned space. We welcome all gender identities, pronouns, body types, hair textures and ages. Discriminatory, harassing, intoxicated or threatening behavior toward staff or other clients will not be tolerated and will result in immediate refusal of service without refund of any deposit.

6. Limitation of Liability

Haircutting, color, and chemical services involve inherent risks (e.g. scalp sensitivity, allergic reactions, unexpected color results on previously treated hair). Our stylists conduct consultations and patch tests where appropriate, but clients are responsible for disclosing allergies, recent chemical treatments, medications affecting hair/skin, and pregnancy.

To the maximum extent permitted by New York law, Hairrari NYC's liability for any claim arising from services rendered is limited to the price actually paid for the service in question. Hairrari NYC is not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

7. Intellectual Property

All photographs, logos, copy and graphic elements on this website are the property of Hairrari NYC or used with permission. You may not reproduce or republish them without written consent. Press inquiries: hairrarinyc@gmail.com.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or to services rendered shall first be addressed by good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in New York County, New York, pursuant to the Consumer Arbitration Rules. Each party waives the right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions. Small claims court remains available for qualifying claims.

2. Servicios ofrecidos

Hairrari Bushwick ofrece servicios de corte y color de cabello con enfoque no binario, incluyendo (sin limitarse a) fades, cortes cortos, pixies, color, mechas, trenzas y consultas. Los servicios son realizados por cosmetólogxs y barberxs con licencia del Estado de Nueva York. Los precios, duraciones e inclusiones están publicados en nuestro sitio web y pueden actualizarse sin previo aviso; el precio aplicable a tu visita es el mostrado al momento de reservar.

3. Reserva, depósito y cancelación

Depósito

Se requiere un depósito no reembolsable de $20 USD para confirmar reservas en línea. Este depósito se descuenta del precio final del servicio el día de tu cita.

Cancelación gratuita

Puedes cancelar o reagendar sin costo hasta 24 horas antes de tu cita. Las cancelaciones realizadas con menos de 24 horas pierden el depósito. Las ausencias sin aviso se cobran al precio completo del servicio en la tarjeta registrada o por factura.

Llegadas tarde

Si llegas con más de 10 minutos de retraso, es posible que debamos acortar el servicio o reagendarlo para no afectar al siguiente cliente. El depósito sigue aplicándose.

4. Pago

Los pagos se procesan de forma segura a través de Stripe. Aceptamos las principales tarjetas de crédito y débito (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay y Google Pay. Se acepta efectivo en el local. Hairrari NYC nunca almacena tu número completo de tarjeta en sus servidores — solo se guardan tokens emitidos por Stripe para fines de reserva.

5. Conducta del usuario y derecho de admisión

Hairrari Bushwick es un espacio explícitamente inclusivo, propiedad de personas queer. Damos la bienvenida a todas las identidades de género, pronombres, tipos de cuerpo, texturas de cabello y edades. La conducta discriminatoria, acosadora, ebria o amenazante hacia el personal u otrxs clientes no será tolerada y resultará en la negación inmediata del servicio sin reembolso del depósito.

6. Limitación de responsabilidad

Los servicios de corte, color y tratamientos químicos conllevan riesgos inherentes (p. ej. sensibilidad del cuero cabelludo, reacciones alérgicas, resultados de color inesperados en cabello previamente tratado). Nuestrxs estilistas realizan consultas y pruebas de parche cuando es apropiado, pero el cliente es responsable de informar alergias, tratamientos químicos recientes, medicamentos que afecten cabello/piel y embarazo.

En la medida máxima permitida por la ley de Nueva York, la responsabilidad de Hairrari NYC por cualquier reclamación derivada de los servicios prestados se limita al precio efectivamente pagado por el servicio en cuestión. Hairrari NYC no será responsable por daños indirectos, consecuentes o punitivos. Nada en estos términos excluye la responsabilidad por negligencia grave o dolo.

8. Ley aplicable y resolución de disputas

Estos Términos se rigen por las leyes del Estado de Nueva York, sin atender a sus principios de conflicto de leyes. Cualquier disputa derivada de o relacionada con estos Términos o con los servicios prestados será primero abordada mediante negociación de buena fe. Si no se resuelve, la disputa se someterá a arbitraje vinculante administrado por la American Arbitration Association en el Condado de Nueva York, conforme a las Consumer Arbitration Rules. Cada parte renuncia al derecho a juicio por jurado y a participar en acciones colectivas. El tribunal de menor cuantía sigue disponible para reclamos elegibles.
